Hi at all

yesterday something funny happened to me: I was in train on my way home from work, and to pass the time I read Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Battle Tendency). The I finished the manga and thought I could use the time to make a sketch for the sketch game (patmax17.deviantart.com/journa…). I decided to draw him: oomellychanoo.deviantart.com/a…
One thing that happens quite often to me is that when reading mangas I get inspired by the drawings and when I start drawing myself after reading one, my style usually is influenced quite strongly by the mangaka's. I actually have some drawings in my gallery I exactly remember which drawings or mangas inspired them.
No need to say that the drawing turned out so ugly and unfitting for the character I don't even dare hosting it online XD

Does the same happen to you? I.e. are your drawings also influenced (in style, content etc) by the comics (or novels, ora anime, or drawings,...) you're reading/looking at/watching at the moment?
